ABOUT US

Evelyn and I came up from Southern California 23 years ago to visit the area. We saw a need for

ATV rentals. We located the property at 197 Grand in 1981 and rented the property from the Southern Pacific Railroad in May 1982. We purchased the property from the Railroad in 1990.

We bought 4 ATC's (3-wheelers) and as the business progressed we purchased a few bikes at a time until we had 200 bikes in 1986 when the government restricted all 3-wheelers. We had already accumulated 150 4-wheelers and parked the 3-wheelers, never to rent them again.

As the business of ATV riding dropped off because of negative publicity, the rental business subsided to half of what it was in the early 80's until the goverment consent decree with manufacturers ended.

Now ATV riding is a growing business with a new generation of riders and ATV sales are at their highest since the early '90's.

Safety and fun are our biggest assets. We want our customers to experience the full enjoyment of the beach and dunes as safe as possible.
